Highly Effective Flumioxazin, a Grass Killer in Broad-leaved Fields

Aryloxyphenoxypropionate is an aryloxyphenoxy propionate herbicide.

It is mainly registered for use in soybean, cotton, peanut, nursery and rape fields to prevent and control annual grass weeds. It is mainly used in broad-leaved crop fields to control annual and perennial grass weeds, including martan, barnyardgrass, goldenrod, maidenhair, dogwood, cowslip, early gram, wild oats, reed, white fescue, dogtooth root, etc. It is especially effective in preventing and controlling perennial stubborn grass weeds such as reed, white fescue and dogtooth root.

Product features

1. Acetyl coenzyme A carboxylase inhibitor, interferes with fatty acid synthesis in sensitive plants. It can be absorbed by the stem and leaves of the plant, and is rapidly transferred to the whole plant.

2. Efficient flumioxazin was introduced into China mainly for soybean fields, and 60% of the documents in the grade varieties are still used in soybean fields as of now, one is that soybean belongs to large fields with large planting area; the other is due to its safety to broadleaf family.

3. High efficiency, low toxicity, 2-4 grams / mu can be very good prevention of soybean, cotton, peanut and other crops of annual and perennial grass weeds, using only a few tenths of the traditional herbicide, more than several times the normal amount will not produce drug damage. The drug degrades quickly in the soil, has no adverse effects on groundwater and the environment, and is safe for subsequent crops.

4. Long duration, one application can basically control the whole reproductive period of grass weed damage. It has absolute advantage in cotton and sunflower, and will be the key direction in the future. It is more resistant to low temperature and effective in reed when applied to common broad-leaved crops, and it is more effective when the grass is old.

Conclusion

From a comprehensive point of view, the cost performance of high efficiency flumioxazin in soybean field is low, and allylone has become the mainstream of weed control in soybean field, coupled with the future popularity of genetically modified soybean in China, it will be very difficult to increase the amount of high efficiency flumioxazin in soybean field in the future. Cotton, peanut, sunflower, etc. will be the important development direction and focus point of high efficiency flumioxazin.

In addition, at this stage, the end-use of high efficiency Haloxyfop-methyl in overseas market is still mainly 108g/L emulsifiable oil, the average annual consumption of overseas equivalent to about 1600 tons of the original drug / year, the stability of overseas demand on the impact of the domestic production enterprises is very important.

2-Chloro-5-(Trifluoromethyl)Pyridine (CTF): A Comprehensive Guide

2-Chloro-5-(Trifluoromethyl)Pyridine (CTF)   is an organic compound that plays a crucial role in various chemical and pharmaceutical applications. This versatile molecule is commonly used in the synthesis of agrochemicals and pharmaceuticals due to its unique chemical structure. In this article, we will explore its chemical properties, synthesis methods, and key applications. Chemical Structure and Properties of CTF CTF features a pyridine ring with a chlorine atom at position 2 and a trifluoromethyl group at position 5. This specific arrangement provides CTF with distinct chemical characteristics, such as increased electron density and stability, making it highly reactive in several chemical processes. The trifluoromethyl group enhances its lipophilicity, allowing it to interact effectively with other organic molecules. The chemical structure of CTF contributes significantly to its solubility in various solvents, including polar solvents. Moreover, its stability under diffe...

Benefits of Haloxyfop-R-methyl 97%TC

Haloxyfop-R-methyl 97%TC is a potent herbicide widely used in agriculture to selectively control grassy weeds in various crops. This article provides an overview of Haloxyfop-R-methyl, its mode of action, application methods, benefits, and considerations for effective and responsible use. I. Introduction Haloxyfop-R-methyl 97%TC  is a post-emergent herbicide that specifically targets grassy weeds while being safe for use in many broadleaf crops. It provides an effective solution to combat unwanted grasses that compete with crops for resources and hinder their growth. II. Mode of Action Haloxyfop-R-methyl 97%TC belongs to the aryloxyphenoxypropionate (FOP) group of herbicides. It works by inhibiting the enzyme called acetyl-coenzyme A carboxylase (ACCase) in grassy weeds. This enzyme is responsible for fatty acid synthesis, which is essential for weed growth. By inhibiting ACCase, Haloxyfop-R-methyl disrupts the production of fatty acids, leading to the death of grassy weeds while l...
